A pathology-themed online quiz for undergraduates studying medicine or similar.

Teams of up to 6 undergraduates studying medicine or biomedical science (or similar degrees such as veterinary sciences) are invited to join in our virtual pathology quiz. With a range of questions gathered from RCPath members and experts in their field, the event gives you the chance to test your knowledge of disease prevention, diagnosis and treatment. Even if you’re in the early stage of your degree, there’ll be questions to suit all levels of background knowledge.

Our hosts are neuropathologist, Dr Matthew Clarke, and medical microbiologist, Dr Reham Abdelmonem.

This event is part of activities being run to mark National Pathology Week, taking place from Monday 3 to Sunday 9 November, and International Pathology Day on Wednesday 5 November.

PRIZE: Each member of the winning team will receive a certificate and free entry to next year's International Pathology Day (IPD) virtual conference. IPD is about championing and the work of pathologists and laboratory medicine professionals all around the world.

To put a team forward for this event, all team members will need to register individually via the link on this page but make sure you all agree on a team name in advance as you will need to include this when you register.

Please note this event will be held on Zoom meeting and Slido will be used to host the quiz questions, so you will need electronic devices that can support both these platforms.

There will also be the opportunity to speak with representatives from The Royal College of Pathologists in Zoom breakout rooms after the quiz.
