TOPICS COVERED

The 2026 Tutorial will focus on novel and controversial areas in lymphoma classification, presenting highlights from a Classification Advancement Meeting (CAM) that will take place in early 2026. The CAM is a joint effort between former members of the World Health Organization (WHO) 5th edition Classification and the International Consensus Classification of hematopoietic neoplasms, designed to inform the 6th edition of the WHO Classification of Myeloid and Lymphoid Neoplasms. The 2026 EHT Tutors are co-ordinators of, and participants in the CAM. During the Tutorial we will illustrate agreed new entities, present modifications proposed for the next classification, and discuss areas of ongoing controversy. At the conclusion of the meeting participants will be amongst the first to have insight into the next iteration of the lymphoma classification. Delegates will have been updated on a broad range of problem areas pertinent to lymphoma classification, be equipped with a practical approach to resolving difficult diagnostic dilemmas, and have an insight into changes expected in the next classification.
Electronic copies of all case discussions and lectures will be made available after the course. Scanned slides of the cases discussed will be available for viewing prior to the meeting and remain available for viewing for two months after its close, allowing delegates to revisit them and reinforce learning points at their convenience.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

The course is suited to practicing Haematopathologists, as well as Pathologists or Haematologists with an interest in Haematopathology or lymphoma diagnosis and Pathologists in training.
