The latest news and information page contains any recent changes to the timing, content or structure of an exam.

Latest news and information

Please read the general regulations and guidelines, as well as the specialty specific ones, before applying. Applicants not in the UK must also read the specialty curriculum to ensure they are familiar with the areas covered by the relevant UK training course, as the exam will test what is learnt on that course. The supplementary documents may also be helpful.

To apply for an exam please fill out the relevant application form and pay the fee online. Please note that currently only Spring 2013 exam applications can be made. Please check the dates page to see when your exam will be. If there is not a set date yet it may be because we need to know how many applicants we have beforehand and will not be able to publish the exam date until January or February.

All candidates are allowed 4 attempts at each exam. To resit an exam again please send in the below application for the College Council to consider.
