Kohn Memorial Lecture
The lecture was established in memory of Joachim Kohn. The lecture may be given on any pathology specialty. The first lecture was given in 1989 by Professor J R Hobbs.
Dr Remi Terranova delivered his lecture, “Non-clinical safety considerations for the development of emerging epigenetic therapies.” on Tuesday 19 November 2019, as part of the British Society of Toxicological Pathology’s 34th Annual Scientific Meeting organised in co-operation with British Toxicology Society, which was held in Newcastle.
Remi Terranova, PhD, Senior Investigator, Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR Preclinical Safety) is an innovative scientist and nonclinical safety expert with several years’ pharmaceutical experience leading toxicology evaluation of drugs and targets at preclinical stages of development. He has core expertise in mechanistic and translational epigenetics research applied to disease characterization, drug development and drug safety. At the British Society of Toxicological Pathology’s 34th Annual Scientific Meeting Dr Terranova will lead the panel discussion exploring the safety concerns and pathological landscape of emergent epigenetic therapies.
